For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Purpose: To show that our understanding of time is quite limited. When the dead in Christ shall rise, time will lose its present meaning. We measure time by the life span of a human being in many areas. When we rise to be with Christ, these measurements will all be changed.
